The Garden Corner

We were out driving in the area between Wilsonville and Tualatin the other day (June 3, to be exact) and while rounding a tight corner in a wooded area noticed bright orange banners flying on our right. We turned around at the next available road and returned to the spot. The driveway beckoned us into a wonderful corner full of interesting plants and garden furnishings.

The metal diamond is the gong for giant windchimes. I was mesmerized by the deep, sustained tones each tubular chime made.

We spent this past weekend in the Seattle area. Explored a bit of the Fremont district and the old city of Ballard. We stayed in Bellevue. Sold two guitars at the Sea-Tac guitar show and sale. Drove home Sunday late afternoon.
