Los Cowtones at Beaterville Cafe May 21, 2011

Low Cowtones played at the Beaterville Cafe last night. We'd never heard of this local hotspot until John, the guitar player for the band, booked the gig. It's located in NE Portland on Killingsworth and has been in business for 15 years. Every square inch is loving decorated from top to bottom with kitschy artwork and objects. One could spend hours exploring the walls and ceilings. Childhood memories came roaring back to life as I recognized paintings, photos, clocks, collages that I'd not seen in years.

it's obvious that the artist had a good sense of composition when arranging

Diane, what a great job,not only did the designer have a good eye for composition but so did you in your chronicling of this, beautiful.
